About the Role
The designer will be responsible for creating functional and visually compelling packaging solutions across multiple product lines, ensuring designs meet industry standards and support brand objectives.
Responsibilities
- Develop original packaging concepts from initial sketches to final production files
- Collaborate with product teams to ensure packaging aligns with brand strategy
- Create mockups and 3D visualizations for client presentations
- Adapt designs for various formats, including rigid boxes, labels, and flexible materials
- Ensure all artwork complies with regulatory and safety labeling requirements
- Work closely with printers and manufacturers to oversee production accuracy
- Revise designs based on feedback from stakeholders and usability testing
- Maintain consistency across packaging lines and related marketing materials
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously within tight deadlines
- Prepare print-ready files with proper color separation and technical specifications
- Conduct research on packaging trends and consumer preferences
- Optimize packaging for shelf impact and brand recognition
- Integrate sustainability considerations into material and design choices
- Present design options to internal teams and external clients
- Support rebranding initiatives through updated packaging systems
- Ensure typography, color, and imagery meet brand guidelines
- Collaborate with copywriters on content layout and hierarchy
- Use industry-standard software for vector and raster design
- Track project timelines and deliverables using digital tools
- Maintain organized digital asset libraries
