About the Role
The consultant engages with medical practices to introduce and support the adoption of a blood-based cancer screening technology, focusing on education, training, and operational integration within clinical workflows.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-person and virtual outreach to oncology and primary care practices
- Educate clinical staff on the purpose and use of a multi-cancer early detection test
- Support test ordering procedures and sample collection logistics
- Address inquiries from healthcare providers about test interpretation
- Collaborate with laboratories to ensure smooth specimen handling
- Track engagement activities and follow up with provider offices
- Identify barriers to adoption and recommend process improvements
- Attend medical conferences and professional society events
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of clinical data related to cancer screening
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve provider concerns
- Deliver training sessions for new and existing clients
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and privacy standards
- Report on regional performance metrics and market feedback
- Build relationships with key opinion leaders in oncology
- Support the development of localized educational materials
- Assist in onboarding new accounts to the testing platform
- Monitor changes in clinical guidelines affecting test utilization
- Provide feedback to product teams based on provider input
- Maintain accurate records in customer relationship management systems
- Promote equitable access to screening across diverse patient populations

About the Galleri Test
The Galleri test is a blood-based screening tool designed to detect multiple cancer types at early stages, often before symptoms appear. It uses cell-free DNA analysis to identify cancer signals and predict the tissue of origin. The test is intended for use in adults over 50 with average to high cancer risk and is not a replacement for recommended cancer screenings.
Travel Requirements
This role requires regular travel within the Long Island East region, including visits to clinics, hospitals, and physician offices. Consultants must be able to conduct in-person meetings during standard business hours and occasionally outside of them.
