Allegheny Health Network is hiring a Graduate Nurse for the 9C Telemetry unit at Allegheny General Hospital. In this role, you will be responsible and accountable for a designated patient population, providing specialized care based on the nursing process for a diverse group with a heavy neuroscience focus.
What You'll Do
- Demonstrate clinical assessment and care planning skills.
- Provide safe and effective care for the age population served according to regulatory requirements.
- Professionally direct and manage the activities of patient care delivery by team members.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team for the plan of care from admission through discharge.
- Assess learning needs of patients and families and provide education based on age, culture, and willingness to learn.
What We're Looking For
- Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.
- Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate.
- Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.
- Current State of PA RN licensure OR current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) or a Temporary Practice Permit.
- CPR certification.

This is an onsite position located at Allegheny General Hospital.
