Gartner is seeking an Account Executive to join our AHT/GTS division. In this field-based, direct sales role, you are responsible for client retention and growth through contract expansion and introducing new products and services. You will consult with C-level executives to develop and implement enterprise-wide strategies that maximize the value delivered by Gartner’s insights.
What You'll Do
- Manage accounts with an outcome of increased customer satisfaction, retention, and account growth.
- Be responsible for a quota of $800,000+ of contract value within a territory of major client accounts.
- Master and consistently execute Gartner’s sales methodology.
- Conduct account planning and territory management.
- Manage forecast accuracy on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Maintain competitive knowledge and focus.
- Develop an in-depth knowledge of Gartner’s products and services.
What We're Looking For
- 5-8 years of experience with proven consultative sales.
- Proven experience in high technology (services, software, or a consultative environment).
- Evidence of prior success in Sales.
- Strong demonstration of intellect, drive, executive presence, and sales acumen.
- Proven experience building excellent client relationships at C-level within large enterprise organisations.
- Strong computer proficiency and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of the full life cycle of the sales process.
