Voltaira seeks a Global Head of IT – Digital Platforms & IT Operations (m/f/d). This strategic yet hands-on role is responsible for leading the transformation and optimization of our global IT organization following a merger. You will build a unified, high-performing IT function and report directly to the CIO, with the position designed as a succession role into the CIO role.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement a unified global IT organization post-merger, integrating systems, teams, and processes.
- Define target operating models, governance, KPIs, and accountability frameworks.
- Drive cultural integration, change management, and provide hands-on leadership during critical phases.
- Build agile product teams to deliver scalable, user-centric digital solutions aligned with business needs.
- Establish enterprise-wide data governance, analytics capabilities, and promote data-driven decision-making.
- Standardize Microsoft 365 and collaboration tools, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
- Harmonize time recording systems, integrate with HR/payroll, and align with labor regulations.
- Implement centralized access control aligned with cybersecurity and identity management.
- Lead design and modernization of global IT infrastructure, including cloud and hybrid architectures.
- Oversee proactive cybersecurity, SOC operations, and compliance with global standards.
- Implement ITIL-based service management, a unified service desk, and real-time monitoring.
- Optimize virtualization platforms for scalability, cost efficiency, and lifecycle management.
- Build, mentor, and develop a global IT team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
- Create clear career paths, succession plans, and champion diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Promote hands-on leadership and direct problem-solving engagement.
What We're Looking For
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10–15 years of progressive IT leadership experience.
- Experience with post-merger integration and organizational restructuring.
- Proven track record in digital transformation, IT operations, and enterprise architecture.
- Strong technical foundation with the ability to engage directly in solution design and troubleshooting.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
