Deel is hiring a Global Corporate Services Specialist to support and manage our global corporate governance and compliance functions. This role is central to ensuring our entities across various jurisdictions are properly structured, maintained, and compliant with local regulations.
What You'll Do
- Provide support to Global Corporate leadership, managing various corporate and commercial strategic initiatives and projects.
- Assist the M&A team with mergers and acquisitions, reviewing due diligence and streamlining corporate operations post-acquisition.
- Work with stakeholders to extend and protect the organization's intellectual property rights globally.
- Handle assigned client consultancy and client product matters.
- Support and advise the Product team on commercial and legal matters from product development.
- Advise the business on financial licensing and regulatory matters, engaging external counsel where required.
- Conduct research and analyze corporate requirements and processes related to group structure and commercial practices.
- Work with complex legal documents, forms, and correspondence, ensuring their accuracy and completeness.
- Coordinate with stakeholders on corporate action documentation for compliance with company practices and local regulations.
- Assist cross-functional teams including Finance, Treasury, Tax, HR, and business operations.
- Support compliance and corporate governance matters for subsidiaries as directed.
- Work proactively with the team to maintain a corporate risk register.
- Conduct regular risk reviews, audits, and assessments to support compliance efforts.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and enhanced operational efficiency within the Corporate department.
- Collaborate with external counsel and service providers.
- Assist in preparing reports and summaries for internal and external stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years of experience in corporate governance, entity management, or related roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Tax, Finance, Legal Studies, or a related field.
- Proficient in Jira, Salesforce, Looker, and other relevant tools.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google equivalents.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in English.
