Nexthink is hiring a Global Corporate Controller

Responsibilities

  • Lead the global accounting function, covering controllership, financial reporting, audit coordination, tax compliance, and financial systems management.
  • Manage and coordinate all internal and external audit processes, ensuring compliance and timely resolution of findings.
  • Direct the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close cycles, including consolidation of global entities.
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and regulatory reports in compliance with applicable standards.
  • Oversee core accounting functions such as accounts payable, general ledger, fixed assets, cash management, and intercompany accounting.
  • Collaborate with finance teams across multiple countries and time zones to streamline the global financial close.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain global accounting policies and standard operating procedures.
  • Analyze and interpret financial data under various accounting frameworks, including US GAAP, IFRS, and local GAAP, such as ASC 606.
  • Design, execute, and monitor global financial processes and systems to ensure scalability and accuracy.
  • Support external financial reporting with strategic oversight and technical expertise.
  • Participate in M&A activities, including due diligence, deal structuring, integration planning, and resolution of accounting issues.
  • Define and enforce governance standards for the financial reporting platform to ensure efficiency and consistent use of tools.
  • Lead onshore and offshore teams to deliver strategic accounting and systems projects cost-effectively.
  • Contribute to the long-term roadmap for financial systems to improve process efficiency and reduce operational costs.
  • Evaluate current financial systems and lead the selection, implementation, and enhancement of new technologies.
  • Maintain regular communication with executive leadership, providing financial updates, trend analysis, and variance explanations.
  • Collaborate with FP&A on budgeting, forecasting, actuals reporting, and executive-level financial presentations.
  • Utilize artificial intelligence to enhance financial operations, reporting accuracy, and data analytics capabilities
