The Global Controller will oversee the development and execution of the company’s global accounting strategy, reporting directly to the Global Chief Financial Officer. This role is central to establishing a disciplined, scalable financial infrastructure that supports rapid growth while ensuring compliance with GAAP, SOX, and SEC requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and manage a rigorous month-end close process with defined timelines, accountability, and controls to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Develop and maintain accounting policies and internal controls that support audit readiness and regulatory compliance.
- Lead, mentor, and expand the accounting team to match the pace of organizational growth and evolving business needs.
- Produce detailed financial reports and analysis that inform leadership decisions, highlight risks, and uncover performance opportunities.
- Collaborate with finance, technology, and operations to streamline workflows, implement system improvements, and increase efficiency across accounting functions.
Qualifications
- Proven experience applying GAAP and managing audits, with a strong record of delivering accurate financial statements.
- History of building and leading accounting teams in high-growth environments.
- Expertise in financial reporting, benchmarking, and performance analysis.
