Solenis is hiring a GL Accountant

Solenis is hiring a GL Accountant to join our Shared Service Center in Warsaw, Poland. This full-time, permanent role is focused on general ledger accounting and month-end closing activities for the North America region.

What You'll Do

• Manage general ledger activities, including posting accruals and prepayments.
• Ensure all month-end closing activities are completed accurately and on time.
• Collaborate effectively with teams including Payroll, Accounts Payable, Cash Application, and Credit Control.
• Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations and take ownership of all GL accounts, including Intercompany accounts.
• Analyze variances and fluctuations in the Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet.

What We're Looking For

• At least 2 years of experience in a GL or other Accounting Department role.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems.
• Well-versed in modern accounting practices.
• Excel proficiency and strong analytical skills.
• Clear and effective communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adept at multitasking and meeting deadlines.
• Self-reliant, proactive, and highly motivated.

Nice to Have

• SAP experience.
• ACCA certificate.
