About the Role

Hilton is seeking a General Cashier to join our finance team. At Hilton, we are dedicated to continuing our tradition of providing exceptional guest experiences and fulfilling our vision to fill the earth with the light and warmth of hospitality. In this role, you will supervise and account for all cash activities of the hotel, safeguard cash assets, and prepare all financial reports related to cash transactions.

What You'll Do

  • Supervise and account for all cash activities of the hotel.
  • Safeguard cash assets.
  • Prepare all financial reports related to cash transactions.
  • Assist in the efficient overall operation of the Finance Department in full compliance with policy, regulatory, and contractual frameworks.
  • Business partner with all hotel finance team members and all hotel departments.
  • Participate in all relevant Finance training and development programs.

What We're Looking For

  • Ability to analyze a large volume of complex financial information from many sources and create reports, forecasts, and projections.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to effectively address any issue in collaboration with others as appropriate.
  • Ability to proactively identify and prevent potential problems.
  • Ability to help develop problem-solving skills among direct reports and other team members as appropriate.
  • Ability to take initiative to identify, prioritize, and implement all elements required for the team to fulfill responsibilities.
  • Detail oriented and organized.
  • Ability to develop presentations and effectively present to all levels of the company, hotels, and owners.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills for all levels of management and external customers.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook with the ability to quickly learn new programs when required.

Nice to Have

  • University degree in Accounting or Finance.

Team & Environment

This role supports the finance lead and assists in developing the finance team. You will serve as a business partner with all hotel finance team members and all hotel departments.
