About the Role
The individual will be responsible for building and managing reliable infrastructure solutions that support high-performance computing and network services. This role involves collaboration across engineering teams to ensure system resilience, scalability, and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable infrastructure for cloud and edge platforms
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues in production environments
- Automate deployment and configuration management using modern DevOps practices
- Ensure high availability and fault tolerance across distributed systems
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance
- Maintain security and compliance standards within infrastructure components
- Participate in incident response and on-call rotations
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies to improve system capabilities
- Document architecture decisions and operational procedures
- Support migration of services to cloud-native environments
- Work with containerization and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes
- Manage infrastructure as code using declarative configuration
- Optimize resource utilization and cost-efficiency
- Contribute to capacity planning and disaster recovery strategies
- Engage in peer reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions
Nice to Have
- Experience with edge computing architectures
- Background in large-scale distributed systems
- Knowledge of BGP, DNS, and CDN technologies
- Familiarity with service mesh implementations
- Certifications in cloud or infrastructure domains
