# Overview: Provides comprehensive accounting services across a diverse client portfolio including aircraft lessors, project finance, asset-backed securitizations, and special purpose vehicles (SPV) firms. Serves as the critical client liaison responsible for management accounts, financial statements, audit coordination, tax and compliance matters, and corporation tax. Delivers additional governance services like company secretariat, board meeting management, and document execution. ## Primary Responsibilities: - Serve as primary client contact, ensuring top-tier service delivery aligned with Company Service Level Agreement (SLA) - Build and maintain robust client relationships, strategically escalating issues when necessary - Prepare annual financial statements meeting strict deadlines and regulatory standards - Complete monthly and quarterly management accounts with precision and timeliness - Guarantee all client deliverables - including tax filing, regulatory, and ad-hoc reporting - are completed per regulatory and SLA requirements - Promptly address and resolve client queries - Mentor and guide less experienced team members - Collaborate with client auditors, legal teams, and transaction advisors - Support process improvements across product lines to boost departmental efficiency - Help develop business and functional requirement documents; test and implement new requirements - Coordinate with Company Secretariat to ensure timely statutory filings - Work closely with product line and client development teams for comprehensive client portfolio administration - Engage in special projects, including assessing new legislation impacting client SPVs - Participate in client accounting service reviews and due diligence meetings - Maintain strict adherence to Company's risk and regulatory standards - Identify and escalate risk-related issues to management - Embody M&T Bank's brand values and foster an inclusive environment - Uphold internal control standards, implementing audit recommendations and addressing regulatory concerns - Execute additional assigned duties as needed ## Scope of Responsibilities: Works independently with general supervision. May provide coaching and guidance to junior team members. ## Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities: Not applicable ## Education and Experience Required: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field with minimum 3 years' accounting experience - Alternatively, 7 years combined higher education/work experience, including 3 years relevant work experience - ACCA or CIMA qualification - Proven experience applying GAAP and IFRS accounting principles - Proficient in computer applications: word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, industry-specific software - Strong financial controls background - Meticulous attention to detail - Ability to critically assess financial risk and influence decision-making - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills - Experience coaching junior accounting staff ## Education and Experience Preferred: - Financial services accounting experience - Agile environment work experience # Location Dublin, Ireland
