Compulsion Games is looking for a Gameplay Programmer to join our human-sized programming community. You will be an active and important member of our multidisciplinary development teams, helping to bring our unique worlds and characters to life.
What You'll Do
- Develop gameplay features and systems such as player interaction, character behaviors, game elements, 3C, AI, or game progression.
- Work directly and communicate with art, animation, direction, and design teams.
- Work on proof of concepts for technical improvements.
- Debug and polish various developed features.
- Be an active and important member of multidisciplinary development teams.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in the video game industry or any other relevant experience.
- Mastery of at least one game engine is mandatory.
- Be a competent and confident C++ programmer.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with a diverse group of artists, designers, and animators.
- A high level of autonomy and proactivity.
- A willingness to learn, regardless of seniority level, and to share your expertise with others.
Nice to Have
- Experience on PC and/or console games.
- Experience with Unreal Engine.
- Regularly play video games and understand the fundamentals that make gameplay 'enjoyable'.
