Oceans is hiring a SEO Content Marketer to lead and execute the organic content engine for an AI-powered IT service platform client. You’ll blend strategic thinking with editorial execution, owning content planning, SEO research, and multi-channel distribution.
What You'll Do
- Build and own an editorial calendar spanning blog, YouTube, and social content.
- Conduct keyword research to identify content pillars and high-impact themes.
- Write or manage the production of clear, engaging, search-optimized content.
- Align content with brand narrative, business goals, and product messaging.
- Collaborate with design, video, and podcast teams to bring stories to life across formats.
- Support thought leadership initiatives and founder content development.
- Guide YouTube scripting and blog content to align with SEO and brand priorities.
- Repurpose content across platforms, adapting tone and format as needed.
- Monitor performance across analytics tools like Google Search Console and Ahrefs.
- Identify opportunities to optimize rankings, clickthroughs, and engagement.
- Stay on top of SEO trends, Google algorithm updates, and generative AI’s impact on search.
- Surface insights to inform quarterly strategy shifts and experiments.
- Collaborate with sales, product marketing, and customer success to align messaging, product launches and content.
- Support campaigns tied to launches, events, or customer education.
- Coordinate approvals, reviews, and publishing timelines across stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
- 3–5+ years of experience building content programs that drive organic growth.
- Ability to plan and manage multi-channel editorial calendars.
- Strong command of tone, clarity, structure, and long-form content writing.
- Proven skills in keyword research, optimization techniques, and performance analysis.
- Proficiency with Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Notion or similar tools.
- Ability to coordinate timelines and collaborate across teams smoothly.
- Experience repurposing content across blog, YouTube, podcast, and social.
- Openness to experimentation, iteration, and applying feedback in real-time.
Nice to Have
- Experience scripting YouTube or podcast content.
- Familiarity with generative AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, or VEO3.
- Comfort in fast-paced, early-stage SaaS environments.
