Moneyhub is looking for a Commercial Finance Business Partner on a 9-month maternity cover contract. This is a high-impact, strategic role where you will act as a trusted advisor to Sales, Product, and Engineering teams, translating financial data into actionable insights to influence commercial strategy and drive profitable growth.
What You'll Do
- Act as a strategic advisor to Sales, Product, and Engineering teams, translating complex financial data into actionable insights that shape commercial strategy.
- Partner with the Sales team to structure profitable enterprise deals and provide analysis on pricing, discounting, and commercial terms.
- Partner with Product and Engineering teams to provide financial evaluation of the product roadmap, build business cases for new features, and track ROI.
- Deliver data-driven storytelling and create clear, insightful reporting for senior management highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Champion financial literacy across the business to empower colleagues to make commercially astute decisions.
- Identify and spearhead process improvements to enhance reporting capabilities and automate financial workflows.
- Enhance the use of Salesforce CRM by improving data quality, ensuring accurate data entry, and optimizing reporting.
What We're Looking For
- Demonstrable experience in a Commercial Finance, FP&A, or Finance Business Partner role, preferably within B2B SaaS, technology, or fintech.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for building relationships and explaining complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
- A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset, with the ability to influence the wider team to drive commercial outcomes.
- Qualified or Part-Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with at least three years relevant experience.
Nice to Have
- Experience with the tech stack (Salesforce, Xero, Translucent).
- Experience working in a high-growth scale-up environment.
- Solid knowledge of accounting regulations.

Team & Environment
Part of the finance team, you will work closely with the Deputy CFO and be embedded within commercial and technology teams, reporting to the Deputy CFO.
