Staycation is hiring a Fullstack Developer to join the Product team's Users squad. You will develop features across our web, mobile, back office, and extranet platforms, directly improving conversion rates and user experience. In this role, you’ll collaborate with Product and Design to solve complex problems and contribute to the technical evolution of our platform.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and deploy new features across our product ecosystem.
- Collaborate with product and marketing teams to implement solutions that drive user growth.
- Participate in PR reviews to ensure high code quality within your team.
- Plan, break down, and architect features with a focus on quality.
- Propose improvements to optimize the codebase and technical stack.
What We're Looking For
- Approximately 5 years of experience in backend (Node) and frontend (React or React Native) development.
- You have worked with Scala or are interested in upskilling in this technology.
- Knowledge of SQL databases, ideally PostgreSQL.
- Strong organizational and teamwork skills within an agile environment.
- Excellent analytical skills, with a realistic and alert approach to problem-solving.
- You are demanding on quality but know how to arbitrate and make compromises when necessary.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with Redux, React Hooks, SASS, Next.js, or Storybook.
- Previous experience setting up a design system.
- Cloud skills with platforms like Heroku, AWS, or GCP.
