GE HealthCare is hiring a Fuels Application Support Technical Project Manager (Remote Eligible, U.S.)

About the Role

GE HealthCare is hiring a Fuels Application Support Technical Project Manager to ensure development and enhancement work for engineering applications have defined plans and proper resource allocation. In this role, you will manage project schedules, coordinate cross-functional teams, ensure compliance with software development procedures, and communicate with the Commercial team.

What You'll Do

  • Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules reflecting all roles, activities, and milestones.
  • Ensure alignment and coordination among various teams and stakeholders to meet project timelines.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance scheduling accuracy and efficiency.
  • Communicate priorities and manage the impacts of priority changes across impacted teams.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of project schedules, changes, and updates.
  • Facilitate clear and effective communication between the digital engineering team, technical leads, and other stakeholders.
  • Identify potential scheduling risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Generate and distribute regular schedule status reports to stakeholders.
  • Ensure resources are allocated effectively to meet project demands.
  • Provide guidance and support to the digital engineering team to ensure adherence to project schedules.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Computer Science from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum of 4 years of project management or engineering operations experience.

  • Skilled in Lean project management concepts.
  • Ability to work in complexity.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with project management software and tools.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of configuration management principles.
  • Knowledge of nuclear business products, business processes, customers, and competitive environment.
  • Demonstrated ability in meeting project budget, schedule, and quality commitments.
  • Excellent Leadership, influencing, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Experience working with Government contracts and contracting requirements.
  • Experience in boiling water or advanced reactors and/or equivalent technical environment.
  • Prior experience working with architect engineer / subcontractors.
  • IT / Computer competency.
  • Proven ability to think strategically, be creative and move quickly.
  • Established credibility with peers and managers based on experience.
  • Strong technical aptitude, including applicable engineering tools and systems.
  • Primavera project scheduling tool experience.
  • Graduate of GE leadership program (PMLP, JOLP, or similar).
  • Six Sigma training (BB, DFSS, etc.) (GE Employees only).
