Kapitus is hiring a Front-End Software Engineer IV to build first-class web applications that drive new EEG analysis, manage clinical studies, and enable patient diagnostics. You'll craft tools that unlock insights into neurological, psychiatric, and sleep disorders.
What You'll Do
- Develop React/Typescript web applications.
- Design and implement UX workflows for clinical study management, data analytics, and patient diagnostics.
- Own the user experience, performance, reliability, and observability of web apps and features.
- Partner with product designers and cross-functional teams to develop user-centric capabilities.
- Help shape the roadmap and technical direction of our web applications.
- Build features for visualizing insights into ongoing clinical trials.
- Develop physician workflows for turning AI algorithm outputs into diagnostic reports.
- Enable study sites to better manage participant enrollment.
- Deploy features to help the Clinical Operations team track compliance.
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of experience in front-end web development (React and Typescript).
- Experience developing data-rich applications with interactive visualization and manipulation of large data amounts.
- A product mindset with deep care for UX, edge cases, and performance.
- Familiarity with GraphQL-based APIs and building scalable consumers.
- Adept at identifying optimization bottlenecks and using debuggers and code profiling tools.
- Strong communication skills and comfort working in a collaborative, async environment.
Nice to Have
- Worked on applications for clinical trials, patients, or in other regulated environments.
- Experience in EEG or with DSP.
- Have worked on back-end systems or infrastructure.
- Contributed to open source React/Typescript projects.
