Key Responsibilities
- Translate dialogue, interface text, and narrative elements from English to Malay
- Preserve tone, context, and gameplay intent across diverse genres including strategy, fantasy, and adventure
- Adapt cultural references and idiomatic expressions for local relevance
- Meet project deadlines within fast-moving development cycles
- Complete a sample translation as part of the onboarding assessment
- Comply with confidentiality requirements for unreleased content
Qualifications
- Native fluency in Malay with strong written accuracy
- Advanced understanding of English language structure and nuance
- At least two years of experience in game localization (English to Malay)
- Proven familiarity with gaming genres and industry-specific terminology
- Proficiency in CAT tools, particularly memoQ
- High attention to detail in grammar, spelling, and consistency

Education and Credentials
