Role Overview
We’re looking for skilled freelance copywriters to develop high-performing product content for a leading toy brand sold across online marketplaces. You’ll specialize in crafting and refining titles, bullet points, and descriptions that align with brand voice, platform standards, and search engine requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Write and refine product content including titles, feature bullets, and descriptions to maximize clarity and conversion.
- Translate brand messaging and product benefits into shopper-focused language that supports SEO goals.
- Ensure all content meets quality benchmarks, follows client-specific guidelines, and remains consistent across listings.
- Optimize copy based on keyword performance and user search behavior to improve visibility and engagement.
Required Qualifications
- Fluency in US English with a strong command of grammar, tone, and style.
- At least five years of professional copywriting experience in ecommerce or retail environments.
- Proven track record in optimizing content for Amazon or similar marketplaces, particularly in consumer goods or toys.
- In-depth understanding of SEO principles, keyword intent, and how search behavior influences content structure.
- Ability to identify inconsistencies, enhance readability, and tailor messaging to different product types.
- Experience working with structured templates and digital authoring platforms.
- Strong attention to detail and awareness of how subtle changes affect performance metrics.
- Reliable collaboration with project leads to meet deadlines and maintain accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background working with international brands or managing content across multiple regions.
- Direct experience writing for the toy industry or children’s products.
- Skill in embedding SEO research directly into product copy.
- Familiarity with SEO tools such as Semrush or Helium for keyword analysis is a plus.
