Role Overview

We’re looking for a freelance B2B Thought Leadership Copywriter to help shape and deliver high-impact content for a leading global consumer insights brand. Your primary responsibility will be transforming dense research findings and strategic insights into engaging, accurate, and narrative-rich content tailored for LinkedIn audiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Convert research reports and data summaries into clear, concise, and insightful short-form content
  • Ensure every piece maintains full fidelity to the original source material
  • Break down complex concepts into accessible, idea-driven messaging
  • Write consistently within defined tone, content pillars, and brand standards
  • Develop static posts, infographics, and carousel content with strong storytelling flow
  • Repurpose static content into motion-ready formats when needed
  • Go beyond formulaic templates to craft distinctive, engaging narratives
  • Balance authority, readability, and originality in every deliverable
  • Collaborate closely with a Creative Strategist to execute content plans
  • Contribute strategic input and content ideas as opportunities arise
  • Occasionally respond to direct client requests, depending on availability
  • Manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines without compromising quality

Qualifications

Required

  • 2–4+ years in B2B copywriting, editorial, or thought leadership roles
  • Proven ability to simplify complex, research-based content
  • Strong grasp of tone, structure, and narrative development
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to factual accuracy
  • Experience writing for professional platforms like LinkedIn
  • Skill in producing high-quality short-form content efficiently
  • Familiarity with using LLMs or AI tools to support writing and quality checks

Preferred

  • Background in editorial or journalism, especially trade publications
  • Experience in corporate communications or insight-led content
  • Worked with research reports, data storytelling, or trend analysis
  • Ability to blend clarity, credibility, and creativity effectively
  • Experience collaborating remotely within cross-functional teams

Tools & Workflow

This role uses LLMs and AI tools as part of the writing and quality assurance process.
