Hyatt Regency Lake Washington is looking for a Food & Beverage Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will work within our Food and Beverage Team to support the Assistant Director of Food & Beverage, ensuring the smooth and efficient daily operation of Langland’s Restaurant & Bar and our event space ‘Bellarine’. You will provide exceptional customer service by handling all guest enquiries courteously and professionally.
What You'll Do
- Greet guests, present menus, take orders, and serve food and beverage items
- Provide personalised and outstanding service to all guests
- Open, set up, and close the outlet
- Develop a thorough understanding of all food and beverage items on the menu
- Set, clear, and reset designated working areas
What We're Looking For
- Previous Food & Beverage experience as a Section Waiter
- A current Victorian Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate
- Flexibility to work on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
Nice to Have
- Confidence in recommending and upselling food and beverage pairings to enhance the guest experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage time effectively and adapt to different customer needs
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Team & Environment
You will work within the Food and Beverage Team, supporting the Assistant Director of Food & Beverage, to whom you will report directly.
