Vaughan Regional Medical Center, part of ScionHealth, is hiring a Floor Technician to join our team. You will be instrumental in keeping assigned areas of the hospital clean, safe, and pleasant for our patients, employees, and visitors, with a focus on maintaining floors and ensuring quality standards.
What You'll Do
- Maintain floors in the facility through execution of specialty cleaning.
- Clean assigned areas appropriately and thoroughly.
- Inspect areas upon completion of cleaning for quality of work, including patient rooms, lobbies, and nurses’ stations.
- Carry out proper safety and infection control practices.
- Move items within, between locations, and to/from storage as needed.
What We're Looking For
- Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Nice to Have
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- One (1) or more year(s) of experience in a hospital or similar environment.
