Trinity Property Consultants is hiring a Floating General Manager to provide management support across our nationwide portfolio of multifamily properties. In this fully remote role, you will travel extensively to ensure operational excellence, financial performance, and resident satisfaction at various locations.
What You'll Do
- Assist in the management of a portfolio of multifamily real estate.
- Travel to assigned properties across the country, including out-of-state locations, to support day-to-day operations.
- Achieve the highest possible net operating income through effective cost control and collections.
- Maintain high occupancy levels.
- Develop marketing plans while staying informed on market conditions and competitive pricing.
- Prepare and submit operational and financial reports to the Regional Manager in a timely manner.
- Build and maintain a high-quality on-site team through effective management, training, and clear communication.
- Implement company policies and procedures as outlined in the official manuals.
- Lead daily and weekly team meetings to provide direction and inspiration.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by actively listening, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring positive resident interactions.
- Oversee and support maintenance team members by monitoring performance and providing guidance.
- Ensure all physical aspects of the property are fully operational, safe, and well-maintained.
- Schedule vendors to keep all vacant units ready for occupancy.
- Conduct regular visual inspections of grounds, buildings, and apartment units.
- Complete and analyze market surveys.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of two years of experience in a management role within the multifamily industry.
- Residence near a major airport to facilitate frequent travel.
- Ability to travel extensively (up to 90%) nationwide, including extended overnight stays.
- Availability to work some nights, weekends, and occasional holidays.
- Ability to handle high-stress situations effectively.
- Strong leadership and excellent communication skills.
- Superior collection, administrative, and organizational skills.
- Excellent time management and prioritization abilities.
- A strong customer service and sales background.
- Knowledge of state laws related to fair housing.
- Intermediate computer, Internet, and software knowledge, specifically in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to accurately perform intermediate mathematical functions.
- Physical capability to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, and reach for extended periods.
- Ability to work at a computer and on the phone for long durations.
- Ability to detect auditory and/or visual alarms.
Nice to Have
- CPM, CAM, RMP, or CMCA certifications.
- Experience with property management software such as Yardi, Voyager, LRO, Entrata, or Resident Check.

Team & Environment
This role reports directly to a Regional Manager and involves extensive collaboration with on-site property teams across the portfolio.
Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation: $65,000 - $85,000 annual base salary, based on experience and location.
