Responsibilities
- Serve as the Finance point of contact for Zip (intake/PO), Concur (T&E), and Ironclad (contracts); ensure requests flow efficiently with proper approvals and documentation.
- Partner with Accounting on month-end close for opex: accruals, reclasses, coding hygiene, and actuals vs. forecast reconciliations.
- Build and maintain variance reporting (month-over-month, quarter-to-date, YoY) with clear drivers and recommended actions.
- Support the FP&A Expense Lead on forecasting and budget refreshes; maintain driver-based models at cost-center and department levels.
- Develop and deliver reporting packages and executive dashboards covering opex trends, run-rate analyses, policy exceptions, and savings opportunities.
- Stand up spend analytics and KPI frameworks (e.g., PO cycle time, policy compliance, non-PO spend %, T&E per head, vendor concentration) and drive remediation.
- Coordinate with Procurement/Legal on vendor diligence, contract terms, renewals, and consolidation opportunities.
- Partner with Business Systems to enhance tooling, integrations, and AI-assisted automation (document parsing, anomaly detection, policy checks)
Requirements
- 3–6+ years in FP&A/FinOps/Accounting with hands-on ownership of purchasing and expense workflows
- SQL and BI tooling experience
- Strong Excel/Google Sheets
