About the Role
This role involves delivering expert-level support for Dynamics 365 Business Central, troubleshooting complex issues, guiding clients through system challenges, and ensuring smooth operations post-implementation.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues in Dynamics 365 Business Central environments
- Provide advanced support during and after software implementations
- Collaborate with clients to understand business requirements and system needs
- Analyze system performance and recommend optimizations
- Document technical solutions and support procedures
- Assist in the configuration and customization of Business Central modules
- Work with development teams to escalate and resolve code-related problems
- Support data migration activities and validate data integrity
- Guide clients through updates and version upgrades
- Respond to service requests within defined service level agreements
- Conduct root cause analysis for recurring technical issues
- Train client teams on system functionality and best practices
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Microsoft's release cycles
- Participate in testing patches and hotfixes
- Ensure compliance with licensing and configuration standards
- Coordinate with project teams during go-live phases
- Assist in writing technical specifications for enhancements
- Monitor system health and proactively identify risks
- Support integration with third-party applications
- Troubleshoot report generation and workflow failures
- Provide input for improving internal support processes
- Escalate critical issues to appropriate technical resources
- Maintain accurate case documentation in support systems
- Deliver post-incident reviews and resolution summaries
- Stay current with industry trends in ERP support
