Moog is looking for a Finisher I to be responsible for the quality of our products by performing manual deburring processes. You will clean, polish, break edges, blend defects, and remove contamination per our high workmanship standards. In this role, you will be expected to understand business objectives, follow standard work instructions, find and fix problems, and continuously seek improvements.
What You'll Do
- Perform manual deburring processes using deburring hand tools and machines.
- Interpret blueprint and sketch sheets, and perform visual and dimensional inspection.
- Participate in root cause analysis.
- Provide corrective actions for non-conforming parts to support cluster objectives and metrics.
- Follow standard work instructions and utilize manufacturing tools like 5S, Lean concept, Visual management, and 6 Sigma.
What We're Looking For
- Completed 3rd year engineering + 6 months deburr experience
- Technology graduate major in machine shop (3 years) + 6 months deburr experience
- Engineering graduate + 6 months deburr experience
- Good eye and hand coordination in performing deburr finishing work
- Experience using simple deburr equipment like ECD, Sandblast, Buffing, and simple measuring devices.
