Join Fingerpaint Marketing as a Senior Editor within our Fingerpaint Market Access (FPMA) group. In this role, you will be the champion of high-quality work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring top-notch deliverables, particularly for client medical, legal, and regulatory (MLR) review. You'll handle all editorial responsibilities while contributing to the overall story and logic flow of key market access projects.
What You'll Do
- Edit, proofread, and fact-check materials to ensure consistency with grammar, style, and AMA, client, and house guidelines.
- Ensure deliverables meet all relevant standards, with a focus on preparing them for MLR review.
- Apply knowledge of market access content, such as billing & coding guides and payer presentations.
- Collaborate with other departments to maintain content quality, clarity, accuracy, and consistency, while adhering to timelines.
- Participate in kickoff, status, and other internal and external account-related meetings as needed.
- Support management in departmental initiatives and help create or revise departmental resources.
What We're Looking For
- A bachelor’s degree, preferably in English, communications, journalism, or health sciences.
- 3-5 years of professional editing experience, including fact-checking.
- A deep understanding of the MLR review process.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong editing skills in copyediting, substantive editing, and fact-checking.
- Intimate knowledge of AMA guidelines.
- Experience ensuring deliverables are designed to tell a compelling story.
- Strong time management, prioritization, organization, and problem-solving skills, with impeccable attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- A general understanding of how the unique needs of print and digital projects affect editorial reviews.
- General proficiency with digital/remote work communication tools.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.
Nice to Have
- Market access (managed markets) agency experience.
- Experience using Ziflow or a similar online review platform.
