The Huntington National Bank is looking for a Financial Relationship Banker to join our team in Holt, MI. In this role, you will play a key part in looking out for our consumer and business customers. Your focus will be on proactively identifying financial goals and needs to retain and grow relationships through appropriate banking products and services.

What You'll Do

Provide excellent customer service and effectively resolve customer issues.
Proactively identify opportunities to grow customer relationships through pre-set appointments, Centers of Influence, a disciplined sales process, and sourcing referrals.
Educate and refer customers to other areas of the bank to deepen relationships and build strong internal partnerships.
Educate customers on how to optimize their use of bank technology, including online, mobile, and ATM banking.
Maintain your knowledge of all products, services, technology, and policies.
Adhere to all operational, security, risk, and regulatory policies and procedures.

What We're Looking For

High School Diploma or GED.
A minimum of 1 year of customer service and sales experience in banking, financial services, goal-driven retail sales, or business-to-business sales. Military service in an administration, contracting, civil affairs, or similar role also qualifies.

Nice to Have

Bachelor's Degree.
1 year or more in customer service and sales in banking, financial services, goal-driven retail sales, or Business-to-Business sales.
Ability to build, deepen, and retain relationships.
Demonstrates acumen in banking, sales, investments, consumer lending, business banking, business lending, customer service, and presentation skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Comfort with technology such as mobile services and online banking services.
Knowledge of consumer and business deposit products.
