Odyssey Group is looking for a Financial Operations Lead to play a pivotal role at the intersection of finance, technology, and operations. This role is responsible for driving process improvements and ensuring accurate and timely close activities, including SOX compliance.
What You'll Do
- Oversee day-to-day finance operations including month-end and year-end close, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Establish clear, accessible documentation for all financial processes, calculations, and reporting logic.
- Partner with Finance, IT, and Data Engineering to ensure data integrity and consistent process execution.
- Champion best practices in financial operations, controls, and system utilization to drive efficiency and accuracy across the team.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Deep understanding of financial operations, including billing and reinsurance.
Nice to Have
- CPA or MBA.
