Zurich Canada is hiring a Financial Line Underwriter to join our team. In this role, you will underwrite financial lines insurance products. You will analyze risks, set terms and pricing, manage client relationships, and develop new business.

What You'll Do

Work with the financial lines team and supervisor to drive business development.
Conduct risk analysis, industry analysis, financial analysis, and determine policy terms and pricing.
Manage and maintain client relationships, optimize resources, and conduct market analysis.
Maintain relationships with client intermediaries.
Promote products and develop new business.

What We're Looking For

A Bachelor's or Master's degree, with a major in fields such as economics, finance, accounting, insurance, law, or business.
Five or more years of relevant work experience.
An understanding of insurance policy terms.
Ability to learn about emerging industries and new business models.
Knowledge of the Chinese commercial and insurance markets, risks, and relevant regulations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
Proficiency in English.
Ability to analyze risks and set pricing.
Basic knowledge of risk management and risk control.
Ability to segment markets and select risks.
Understanding of client management strategies.
