The San Diego County Regional Airport Authority is offering a one-year, full-time, paid Financial Analyst – Veteran Fellowship. As part of the SAN Veteran Fellowship Program, you will join the Finance & Risk Management department to support operational goals through financial analysis, budget monitoring, and strategic planning, aiding in the transition to the civilian workforce.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with department teams to develop budgets and forecasts aligned with organizational goals.
- Monitor departmental expenditures and analyze variances between actual spend and budgeted amounts.
- Provide accurate financial data and analysis to internal stakeholders to support decision-making.
- Undertake ad-hoc financial projects, including reporting, data analysis, and process improvements.
- Contribute to the preparation and compilation of the comprehensive Budget Book by gathering financial data and supporting documentation.
- Assist in developing strategic financial plans that support long-term organizational objectives.
