About the Role

The Financial Analyst will evaluate financial performance, assist in budget preparation, and deliver analytical support to leadership for informed planning and operational decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze financial statements and operational metrics to assess performance trends.
  • Assist in the development and monitoring of annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Prepare regular financial reports for management review and decision-making.
  • Identify variances between actual results and projections, providing explanations.
  • Support financial planning processes across departments.
  • Collaborate with accounting teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Conduct cost analysis to evaluate program and departmental efficiency.
  • Model financial scenarios to support strategic initiatives.
  • Gather and validate data from multiple internal systems.
  • Maintain financial databases and ensure data integrity.
  • Assist in audits by providing necessary financial documentation.
  • Monitor compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Provide analytical support during capital project evaluations.
  • Work with department leaders to interpret financial results.
  • Contribute to process improvements in financial reporting workflows.
  • Stay current with healthcare industry financial trends and regulations.
  • Prepare presentations summarizing financial findings for leadership.
  • Support ad hoc financial requests from management.
  • Ensure confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
  • Utilize Excel and financial software for analysis and modeling.
  • Track key performance indicators for financial health.
  • Assist in grant-related financial reporting where applicable.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams as needed.
  • Maintain organized records of financial analyses and assumptions.
  • Support year-end financial closing activities.
