Spark Advisors is hiring a Financial Analyst to join our Finance team. This role is a key member responsible for the quantitative analysis of budgets, expenses, and financial projects, with significant ownership of our Financial Planning and Analysis function.

What You'll Do

• Analyze financial data and provide forecasting support, including developing financial projections and models.
• Track KPIs and prepare financial and operational reports.
• Assist in creating and maintaining the long-range financial forecast model, partnering with other departments to ensure modeling assumptions are current.
• Help drive the annual budgeting process for functional areas.
• Assist in the creation, consolidation, and distribution of monthly reports and critical metrics to key partners.
• Build and manage relationships across the business as the point of contact for analytical support for assigned teams.
• Support the monthly financial close process and the annual financial audit.
• Build and present financial executive summaries and slides for executives, the board of directors, or other management presentations.
• Provide decision support (ROI, benchmarking, etc.) on company decisions including partnerships, customer contracts, and M&A activities.
• Provide insights into financial performance, including expense run-rates, trends, variance analysis, and project costs.
• Perform ad hoc analysis and build financial models to support management business decisions.
• Conduct ROI and Go/No-Go analysis on Capex Expenditures.

What We're Looking For

• 2-3 years of experience in financial planning and analysis and modeling in the healthcare field.
• Experience processing large datasets, including scrubbing 'unclean' data.
• Solid working knowledge of financial strategies and modeling best practices.
• Experience with Private Equity/Venture Capital backed organizations, including routine interaction with professional investor groups.
• Expert level Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience using various BI tools.

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
