Role Overview

The Finance Solution Architect plays a central role in shaping technical solutions within the Finance domain, with a strong emphasis on Intercompany processes. This professional is responsible for interpreting business requirements and transforming them into robust, scalable system designs that align with enterprise architecture principles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and document solution architecture with a focus on Intercompany financial operations, including sales, billing, stock transfers, and transfer pricing.
  • Collaborate with technology leads, developers, and external partners to develop solutions that meet customer needs and technical standards.
  • Lead the definition of architectural requirements throughout project delivery, ensuring consistency across business units.
  • Translate end-to-end business processes into integrated technical designs, incorporating data architecture, system migration, and functionality enablement.
  • Ensure alignment between enterprise architecture blueprints and implemented solutions, particularly in SAP environments.
  • Advise stakeholders on technical and process improvements, offering expert consultation across the solution lifecycle.
  • Evaluate new business capabilities against existing platform functionality and recommend integration approaches.
  • Define strategies for data and system migration, including version control and long-term maintainability.
  • Present architectural designs to internal and external stakeholders, incorporating feedback and validating technical feasibility.
  • Maintain deep expertise in SAP S/4 HANA, SAP ECC, FICO, and Logistic Chain modules (MM and SD), with understanding of IFRS and USGAAP reporting impacts.

Required Qualifications

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field is required, along with 7–10 years of experience in business transformation, particularly in finance and intercompany processes. Candidates must demonstrate advanced knowledge in:

  • Intercompany sales, pricing, billing, and Stock Transfer Orders
  • End-to-end financial process flows and value chain integration
  • SAP S/4 HANA and SAP ECC business applications
  • Customer and vendor master data, transfer pricing, and financial reporting standards (IFRS, USGAAP)
  • System validation, change impact analysis, and cross-technology architecture understanding

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with agile, DevOps, and waterfall delivery models
  • Ability to guide internal and external project teams through complex solution design
  • Understanding of cost, schedule, and quality trade-offs in technical decision-making
  • Familiarity with Cloud, SaaS, and mobile deployment models and architectures
