Join a forward-thinking finance team as a Finance Intern based in Singapore. This role offers hands-on involvement in managing vendor and supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing within a structured financial workflow.
What You’ll Do
- Enter and manage vendor invoices in the finance system, adhering to deadlines and procedural standards.
- Cross-check invoice data with purchase orders and supporting documentation to confirm correctness in amounts, tax treatment, and account coding.
- Spot inconsistencies and work with internal teams or external suppliers to resolve discrepancies prior to approval.
- Keep detailed records of invoice statuses, approvals, and payments, ensuring full traceability.
- Follow up on delayed or rejected submissions to maintain processing efficiency.
- Support month-end tasks such as reconciliations and accruals as needed.
- Propose practical improvements to streamline financial workflows and system usage.
What We’re Looking For
- Currently enrolled in a degree program in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Foundational knowledge of accounts payable and double-entry bookkeeping principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including functions like pivot tables and VLOOKUPs, is a plus.
- Familiarity with ERP or finance platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite is beneficial.
