About the Role

Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors is seeking a Finance Business Partner to provide strategic financial leadership within a mission-driven, nonprofit healthcare environment focused on community-centered care. As a trusted advisor, you will translate complex financial data into actionable insights that drive sustainable growth and impact.

What You'll Do

  • Analyze financial performance, trends, and variances to provide strategic insights and recommendations.
  • Lead budgeting, rolling forecasts, and long-term financial modeling across departments and service lines.
  • Develop and present financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs to leadership and board stakeholders.
  • Support grant budgeting, fund management, and compliance with nonprofit and healthcare regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial strategy with organizational mission and operational goals.
  • Provide scenario analyses and ROI evaluations for new initiatives, capital projects, and partnerships.
  • Facilitate data-driven decision-making by translating financial information for non-finance audiences.
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, reporting, forecasting accuracy, and operational planning.
  • Mentor team members and promote financial literacy across the organization.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in strategic financial leadership with a collaborative, mission-driven approach.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial planning, nonprofit accounting, and healthcare finance.
  • Knowledge of GAAP, fund accounting, grant compliance, and related regulatory standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience with financial systems such as Workday, Adaptive Planning, Power BI, Tableau, and advanced Excel.
  • Commitment to equity, inclusion, and community-oriented values, with the ability to work empathetically and transparently.
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, evolving environment while managing complex financial scenarios.

Benefits & Compensation

  • Competitive annual salary range of $164,000 - $221,000, commensurate with experience.
