Remote Recruitment is hiring a Finance Assistant to join its finance team. In this role, you will provide essential support for financial operations, ensuring the accuracy of records and contributing to efficient processes. This is a remote position offering flexibility while working with an award-winning UK company.
What You'll Do
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts
- Process invoices and manage accounts payable and receivable
- Maintain accurate financial records, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality
- Support month-end closing activities and financial reconciliations
- Help prepare documentation for audits and manage compliance requirements
- Assist in payroll processing and employee expense reporting
- Respond to financial inquiries and provide customer service to stakeholders
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial practices
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Nice to Have
- An associate degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Prior experience in a finance or accounting role
- Knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero
