Unknown Company is hiring a Field Service Technician, Senior

Kodiak Gas Services is hiring a Senior Field Service Technician to take direct operational responsibility for compressor packages, gas processes, and rentals. In this senior-level position, you will act as an informal mentor, applying advanced diagnostic and repair skills to ensure job success.

What You'll Do

• Direct, coordinate, and perform job activities consistent with company goals.
• Troubleshoot all complex repairs and major equipment overhauls.
• Troubleshoot and repair all electrical issues.
• Cultivate, build, and maintain customer relationships.
• Take corrective actions to ensure a guaranteed 98% or better mechanical availability of equipment.
• Provide input to the Area Manager on personnel needs and budget planning.
• Analyze job parts and supply inventory to communicate with Supply Chain.
• Maintain assigned units in a clean and presentable condition.
• Complete required reports and actions per area operating procedures.
• Provide 24/7 coverage, work overtime, and be available for on-call rotations.
• May backfill lead as necessary.

What We're Looking For

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of Kodiak’s SSE program plus a minimum of 3 years in an intermediate-level Field Technician role.
• 5+ years of compression process, production, and equipment experience and/or training.
• Advanced Electrical Troubleshooting skills.
• Advanced and complete knowledge of compressor packages, including all components.
• Expert knowledge of relevant HSE procedures and regulations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Nice to Have

• OEM, Trade School and/or 5+ years comparable work experience.
• CAT Certifications.
• Waukesha Certification.
• Ariel Certification.

• Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Team & Environment

You may backfill the Lead position and assist other field technicians. You will report to the Area Manager.
