Amentum is looking for an Electronic Technician B - Radar to support the Radar Department at the Pacific Missile Range Facility (PMRF) on Kauai, HI. In this role, you will work with minimal supervision to perform a wide range of technical tasks ensuring operational readiness.

What You'll Do

Perform operations and maintenance on radar equipment including MPS-25, FPQ-10, FPS-16 AN/SPS-67, SPS-48E SSR/Furuno, ROSA 1, ROSA 2, and COSIP.
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair systems by reading electronic/mechanical schematics and using complex test equipment.
Install, check, calibrate, and perform acceptance tests on new and relocated systems.
Set up, check out, operate, and monitor systems in direct support of Range Operations.
Prepare and submit system reports, preventative maintenance logs, and other operational documentation.
Develop new procedures, procedural changes, and modification proposals.
Provide operation and maintenance training to new or cross-trained technicians.
Travel to support remote operations and potential at-sea deployments for mission support.

What We're Looking For

A High School diploma or equivalent OR completion of two years of technical school.
Ability to obtain and maintain DOD 8570.01-M certification within 60 days of employment.
Five years of progressive experience in a related field, with a minimum of two years in radar or a similar specific field.
Fundamental knowledge of basic electronics, computers, and electronic equipment troubleshooting and repair.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting complicated schematic diagrams for troubleshooting and repair to the component level.
Ability to use, apply, and understand complex test and measuring equipment.
Proficient PC skills in Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance (US Citizenship required).
Ability to successfully complete NAVAIR certification training.
Physical ability to lift, push, and pull over 50 lbs (two-person assist) and perform work in various positions including walking, standing, crawling, kneeling, and climbing.

Nice to Have

Security+ or equivalent baseline DOD 8570.01-M certification.
Operating system certification in Linux or Windows.
