UnitX is looking for a Field Application Engineer based in Kentucky to support customer installations and integration of robotics and machine vision systems on manufacturing production lines. This role involves significant travel to customer sites.
What You'll Do
- Install systems at customer sites both locally in Kentucky and out of state (i.e., Texas, Michigan, Georgia)
- Work on the factory floor of multiple customer locations
- Integrate machine vision systems with production lines and PLCs
- Demonstrate products to customers in a lab environment
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Basic mechanical and electrical hands-on skills
- Experience with a multimeter and soldering
- Experience with customer relations and interfacing
- Self-starter who can head up tasks independently
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Detail-oriented and patient approach to work
