INNIO is hiring a Field Service Staff Manager

INNIO is hiring a Field Service Staff Manager to lead and develop onsite operators within the dedicated operational regions of NY/PA and CA. You will be responsible for the quality of work execution for customer contracts, repairs, overhauls, and warranty procedures across all product lines, ensuring safety compliance and cost optimization while increasing customer satisfaction. This role is part of the Northeast-Western Energy Systems USA (NES WES) division.

What You'll Do

• Directly manage onsite operators within the operational region NY/PA and CA.
• Ensure quality execution of customer contractual obligations, repairs, overhauls, and warranty procedures.
• Collaborate in the strategic planning for the operational region.
• Ensure compliance with work safety guidelines for all subordinate employees and contractors.
• Support the Service Team by developing and introducing standardized processes.
• Work closely with Service Managers to meet customer requirements with high-quality, timely service.
• Optimize costs for service calls and fulfill service contract requirements.
• Escalate complex technical issues to the Technical Services Group.
• Implement and comply with all safety-relevant requirements, including EHS and audits.
• Increase customer satisfaction by ensuring fast response times and providing necessary service expertise.
• Review operator timecards and hours billed.
• Ensure on-time job closing.
• Manage multiple sites remotely while completing routine site visits to all locations within the operational fleet.

What We're Looking For

• Several years of experience in the electrical and/or mechanical field.
• Previous manager or lead experience in an industrial setting.
• Completed technical or electrical/electronic vocational training.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English.
• High degree of flexibility and resilience.
• Ability to motivate employees internally.
• Ability to analyze and optimize processes and procedures.
• High degree of customer orientation, problem-solving, and negotiating competencies.
• Confident handling of Oracle and Microsoft applications.
• Willingness to travel.

Nice to Have

• Experience preferably in plant engineering or the energy sector.
• Experience preferably in service.
• Knowledge of gas engine series of the Jenbacher products.
