Hitachi Energy is looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our team in Kaohsiung City, Taiwan. In this role, you will gain in-depth market knowledge and provide best-in-class products directly to our clients. What You'll Do
- Perform installation, commissioning, and configuration of equipment and systems at customer sites.
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance and calibration to maximize equipment uptime and extend lifespan.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues, performing repairs and replacing faulty components.
- Provide technical support and training to customers on the operation and maintenance of Hitachi products.
- Document service activities with detailed reports on repairs, installations, and customer interactions.
- Maintain accurate inventory of parts and tools and manage service requests efficiently.
- Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and industry standards.
- Travel extensively to various customer locations.
- Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2+ years of experience in field service, technical support, or a similar role, preferably within the industrial automation or energy sectors.
- Strong understanding of electronic, mechanical, and software systems.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Work Mode
This is an onsite position based in Kaohsiung City, Taiwan. The role requires extensive travel to customer locations.
