About the Role

Deckers Brands is hiring a Field Sales Representative to own and grow a sales territory in Maryland. In this role, you will be responsible for defining critical markets and new customers, planning strategy, and developing key relationships to drive solution selling. Your focus will be on ensuring customer satisfaction regarding supply chain management and value-added services.

What You'll Do

  • Define critical markets and new customers in the assigned sales territory, plan strategy, and develop all key relationships to ensure a strong foundation for solution selling.
  • Maintain and promote relationships with customer contacts who may be determining design opportunities and deal with existing business challenges.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction as it pertains to supply chain management and other value-added services.
  • Develop strategic plans for all assigned accounts, selling and marketing the full set of offerings while incorporating in-depth knowledge of key supplier lines.
  • Prepare comprehensive internal quarterly business reviews (iQBR), presenting strategic plans and implementation steps to grow sales, demand creation, and improve customer service.
  • Lead regular QBRs with major customers to unlock additional sales opportunities.

What We're Looking For

  • 5-7 years of field sales experience.
  • Experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry.
  • In-depth understanding of the electronic components industry.
  • Knowledge of the assigned market/territory (e.g., customers, competition).
  • Ability to promote and sell the value add, supply chain, and full life cycle programs offered.
  • Ability to develop strategic plans for all assigned accounts.
  • Proven ability to articulate complex strategies and execute on them.
  • Extensive understanding of pricing programs and models within the electronics industry.
  • Experience interacting with vendors and customers in a technical and engineering environment.
  • Proficiency in SalesForce.com and Oracle sales tracking systems.
  • Innovative self-starters who are willing to challenge the status quo.
  • Eligibility for an export license or being a U.S. Person (which includes but is not limited to U.S. citizens or nationals, lawful permanent residents, refugees, and asylees).
