Swift Transportation is seeking a Field Recruiter to serve as the face of the company at commercial driving schools and academies. This role requires 100% travel within an assigned region to develop key relationships, promote Swift's opportunities, and identify the next generation of driving talent.
What You'll Do
- Represent Swift and its values to independent commercial driving schools within your assigned geographic region.
- Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with school owners, instructors, and leaders.
- Continuously strengthen relationships with driving schools and academies.
- Make presentations and portray Swift positively during formal and informal events.
- Conduct initial on-site interviews with students to determine potential for success at Swift.
- Forward appropriate contact information to Driver Recruiters for follow-up and processing.
- Ensure all school locations have current Swift information and materials placed in highly visible areas.
- Ensure team-defined metrics are adhered to by assigned team members.
- Provide students with current information on the benefits of working at Swift.
- Act and communicate in a manner which facilitates a positive image of Swift as an employer of choice.
- Proactively work to assist others in achieving the organization's objectives.
What We're Looking For
- 2 years' experience in recruiting and/or outside sales.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- Associates' degree in business or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of the transportation industry is preferred.
Team & Environment
You will work independently but under the general direction of driver recruiting leadership.
