Siemens Healthineers is seeking a Field NPI Program Manager to drive product and process quality on a remote basis. This role bridges the gap between product development, operations, and customer-facing teams to ensure successful new product introductions and support our mission of advancing healthcare.
What You'll Do
- Ensure product and process quality by adhering to Varian’s Quality initiatives, PLM process, and regulatory standards to drive clinical adoption and revenue generation.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to secure resources and ensure alignment for project deliverables and timeline commitments.
- Develop and present a comprehensive program plan that outlines activities, deliverables, and timelines.
- Lead and coordinate teams from different functions, ensuring all aspects of the NPI process are aligned and working toward a common goal.
- Serve as the key point of contact between different departments and organizations.
- Align activities across various teams to ensure that NPI launches meet customer and business requirements.
- Establish and maintain regular communication to achieve seamless collaboration across different teams and organizations.
- Continuously monitor and track performance metrics to ensure the project is on target and deliver regular updates to leadership and stakeholders.
- Identify potential operational challenges and risks early and mitigate them to prevent delays or disruptions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams globally to assess the readiness of the organization to support full product launch.
- Conduct lessons learned sessions for every project and lead process improvement initiatives.
- Maintain flexibility in scheduling to accommodate global teams including ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% of the time.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels.
- Demonstrate patience, tact, and courtesy with a variety of customers and personalities.
- Project management expertise includes a deep understanding of project management principles, especially in the context of new product introductions, with a focus on scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management.
- Strong ability to prioritize tasks and coordinate multiple workstreams in a dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of global operations processes and the ability to prepare operations teams for successful product launches.
- Expertise in tracking performance and ensuring key performance indicators (KPIs) are met throughout the NPI process.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, OneNote, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, ADLM, Visio, Teams, and Yammer.
- Exercise sound judgment and problem-solving skills.
- Take responsibility and work independently, as well as coordinate team effort.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification.
- Knowledge and experience with Varian products.
