Seek Now is looking for capable 1099 Field Inspectors to serve as frontline experts providing accurate, impartial, and complete property inspections. You will collect critical data for clients in the Property Insurance, Facility Management, and Real Estate sectors.
What You'll Do
- Access and inspect steep and/or high roofs, safely lifting and carrying equipment weighing up to 100 pounds.
- Sketch, measure, and scope roof and room components of various sizes and shapes.
- Perform thorough inspections, identifying the age and condition of property elements.
- Travel for assignments averaging two (2) to six (6) weeks at a time, often on short notice, to areas impacted by weather catastrophes.
- Document all inspections using our proprietary smartphone application.
- Cover a 100-mile radius around your home market with flexible scheduling.
- Operate equipment including 3D cameras, drones, and moisture meters.

What We're Looking For
- A clean, reliable truck, van, or SUV capable of safely transporting a 32-foot ladder.
- Valid driver's license and professional appearance.
- Ability to travel, especially during catastrophic events.
- Ability to earn HAAG Certification within 90 days.
- Proficiency with a laptop and smartphone, including data entry and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to submit complete, quality reports on time.
- Your own 32-foot ladder, operational laptop, and smartphone.
- Current 1099 independent contractor status with an LLC or Certificate of Organization.
- State-issued Workers Compensation and a Certificate of General Liability Insurance.
Nice to Have
- Roofing sales or construction experience.
- Property Insurance industry experience.
- Existing Haag Certification.
- Ability to use a 40-foot ladder.
