WECTEC Staffing Services, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Westinghouse Electric Company LLC, is hiring a Field Engineering Intern. You will work directly with a skilled field engineering and technician team to prepare tooling and project planning for the upcoming outage season. This role offers hands-on experience in multiple aspects of our service business.
What You'll Do
- Participate in in-person visits to local machine shops for fabrication follow activities.
- Provide engineering design and analysis for nuclear power plants and products, including fuel manufacturing, spent-fuel management, service, maintenance, instrumentation, control, and training.
- Work with customers, vendors, and other departments on an engineering level to obtain information necessary to perform work assignments.
- Plan and schedule work to meet assignment requirements.
- Assist with tool turnaround activities.
What We're Looking For
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Completed Sophomore year of college.
- Basic exposure to machine design and modeling.
- Note: No relocation assistance is provided.
