Responsibilities
- Manage operations for transport networks, including optical systems, DWDM, and IP-MPLS, ensuring optimal service delivery.
- Maintain high standards in network installation quality across all deployments.
- Carry out assigned tasks to address and reduce network risks arising from environmental or operational factors.
- Provide reliable service performance for mobile and enterprise clients over transport infrastructure.
- Offer on-site and centralized support within the designated circle to meet uptime, fault, performance, and change management targets.
- Implement recovery procedures and tailored solutions to enhance voice and data service reliability.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize network outages, alarms, performance degradation, and hardware failures.
- Fulfill NOC requirements in line with turnaround time and workforce management compliance.
- Keep transport network documentation updated, including network design details and physical connectivity records.
- Collaborate with equipment vendors, transport teams, infrastructure units, field engineering, and NOC to reduce mean time to repair.
