Medtronic is looking for a Field Clinical Engineer II to provide technical support to clinical study sites by serving as the technical resource between engineering, clinical study teams, and the medical community. What You'll Do
- Provide technical support to clinical study sites by serving as the technical resource between engineering, the clinical study teams, and the medical community.
- Typically be present during initial implant procedures to determine how the product interacts with the human body.
- Identify investigators, present study protocols, assist investigators in product application, and submit status reports on all programs.
- Support research and development in evaluating concepts of new products and modifying existing devices or therapies.
- Facilitate signature collection for contracts, DOAs, and other documents, and maintain close partnership with the Clinical team to optimize patient outcomes and collection of high-quality data.
What We're Looking For
- Requires a Baccalaureate degree
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
Nice to Have
- Experience with using, teaching, and guiding users on investigational medical devices and complex study protocols, especially with neuromodulation and neurostimulation.
- Experience traveling to on-site locations and working in a field engineering environment.
- Knowledge of, and experience with, clinical research execution and working with clinical studies.
- Field knowledge working with customers, physicians, research staff, and vendors.
